find people completely casual about an event known as 'Bark In the Park'

This is a fundraiser of sorts for CCA and Humane Society Silicon Valley.
People all over Silicon Valley know, via their family pet shrinks and
animal therapy sessions, that frequent socialization is key to a pet's
emotional well being. And it gives neurotic pet owners, frankly in generous
supply in the Bay Area, a place to congregate and showcase their darling
four-footed pals.
The world, fraught with abuse, terrorism, hunger, and horrors of all kinds, could use a little more pet focused neurosis and a little less anger and cruelty.
Those of you with restraining orders against your exes, up on charges for road rage or seething from having to attend court-ordered anger management classes, ought to, after extensive therapy of course, take heed.
There really is a better way.
