| Just when you thought it was safe to turn on the court TV channel again, the media begins salivating over Michael Jackson's latest legal woes. Felony molestation charges are no joke --- even in flaky CA conviction carries a stiff prison sentence --- but the play-by-play, endless speculation form of coverage evokes the Super Bowl or the Stanley Cup more than a serious criminal investigation. And while the fourth estate is certainly entitled to report the news, the public might actually have more respect if the media would focus on the facts and leave the distasteful speculation to the astrology gazers and Miss Cleos of the world.
