An Open Letter To All Of Our (Never) Bored Of The Rings Fans:
Who KNEW there were so many of you ringers out there who had found us so quickly?
We made MVP go on a web-wide hunt and to find out what some of you were saying about our site. It didn’t take long for her to file the following report:
Dear TLL staffers: LOTR fans are completely besotted by all things LOTR. Period. There simply is no other logical explanation. I normally wouldn’t be this concerned but for pity’s sake, these people have GOT TO get some additional hobbies. The endless emoting over each character and the actors and the plot lines is seriously preventing these people from….well, then again, I am not sure what these people would be doing if they weren’t in chat rooms and logging onto message boards.
Probably best to leave them safely where they are now that I think on it. And one note to you Viggo fans, the law generally frowns upon stalkers. Really, even in southern states it isn’t such a good idea. Stick to the message boards. And consult with your counselor about filling up that prescription, won’t you?
Special note to The Scottish Geisha: Girlfriend, you can no longer pick on Scottish actor Billy Boyd. I’m sorry, but if you continue to write funny things about him, there seem to be millions of loyal fans out there who will get well, positively shirty with you. I think you and this actor fellow need to come to some sort of understanding. I will be pleased to act as interpreter during what I propose should be the world’s first Scottish Summit. Don’t worry, it will be fine. You can schedule it between all those hearts you have been breaking….did I mention, for the hundredth time, how damn tired I am of having to walk over all the prostrate forms of men you have devastated just to speak with you?
I’m sorry, I’ve been under a great deal of stress recently, forgive me, I digress.
Ringers need more stuff guys. More stuff from US, it would seem. More humor, more editorials, more MORE.
