| The Scottish Geisha found herself
puppy sitting a 185-pound Mastiff."Isn't he sweet?" she cooed,
patting his enormous head as we all edged away in the office.
We wondered aloud why she hadn't left him home at her considerably plush
digs.
"Baby is just precious, I agree," said The Scottish Geisha,
"But he's also very lonesome for his mummy so I brought him along
to the office for some company. Isn't he just adorable?" she asked.
Given that 'Baby' was not even remotely friendly to anyone but The Scottish
Geisha, we refrained from observing that she might well have feared that
Baby would eat her small pets alive and brought him along to keep him
indulging in too many small furry snacks.
Virginia Bob, however, found the giant animal most appealing. "Now
that's a proper doo," he declared, scratching the dogs' huge head
without so much as asking for permission.
Baby responded with a slobber and a deep guttural grunt of thanks.
What's a 'doo' we wanted to know.
"Probably 'dog' minus the 'g'," The Scottish Geisha remarked
sarcastically.
Virginia Bob grinned, "That's exactly right," he said.
