Note to The Doctor Phil's of the world:
You guys are not doing your job. Seems we can't turn the corner these days without a friend/foe/ colleague/all the above has been hit with a restraining order for stalking. Stalking has become, like bi-polar diagnosis, the behavior de jour for Acting Like A Moron. Translation: This is what people do when they Do Not Get Their Way.
Face it, everyone gets dumped but have you noticed how many people actually know the legal parameters for the average stay away order? And a lot of those haven't even been through a nasty divorce yet? Despite what you have heard about New York and the dreams of Jewish mothers, not everyone can be a lawyer.
Now that school is officially upon us, we propose that educational institutions offer the following courses:
Relationships 101: How to hook up and break up. Without ever seeing jail time.
Intermediate Anger Management: Methodology for not buying too many firearms.
The History of Stupid Relationships
Navigating the legal system or, What Judge Judy never taught you.
And our personal favorite:
The financial ramifications of breaking up: Advanced math skills required.
